About NFC

China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NFC) was established in 1983 with the approval of the State Council. On April 16, 1997, the reorganization was completed, high-quality assets were extracted and restructured to form NFC, which was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 000758), and held by China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., a large central government-owned enterprise in China.

As one of the earliest "Going-out" enterprises in China, over the years, NFC has developed its business from single project contracting in the early stage to international project contracting and mineral resource development, driving the development of nonferrous mineral resources with the international project contracting, promoting the project contracting through the resource development, realizing the coordinated development of the two main businesses and becoming an internationally-renowned multinational corporation. NFC has a global presence in more than 50 countries and regions, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, India, Greece, Congo (DRC), Zambia, Mexico, Vietnam and Laos. It involves non-ferrous metals business consulting, mineral resources exploration, non-ferrous metals industrial design and research and development, international project contracting, mineral investment and production and operation, mining and processing, smelting, metallurgical industry equipment manufacturing, non-ferrous metals trade and other fields, covering the whole industrial chain of non-ferrous metals industry.

In recent years, NFC has seized the strategic opportunity of the "Belt and Road Initiative" and international production capacity cooperation, actively promoted overseas project contracting, resource development and non-ferrous metal technical and economic cooperation business, and invested in or contracted a number of internationally influential non-ferrous metal industrial projects in more than 20 countries and regions along the route of "Belt and Road Initiative", greatly promoting the local industrial, economic and social development, and gaining a high awareness and reputation in the country where the project is located. Leaders of many countries have attended the completion ceremonies of NFC projects, and "NFC" has become a well-known brand with a high reputation in the international nonferrous metals industry.

NFC has been selected as the World's Top 250 International Contractors" and "the World's Top 200 Designers" by the Engineering News-Record (ENR) for many years, ranking 85th in 2018. For many successive years, it has been selected as "China's Top 500 Enterprises" by Fortunechina.com, ranking 271st at the highest. Several projects won the National Quality Engineering Award, China Overseas Engineering Demonstration Camp, China Non-ferrous Metals Industry (ministerial-level) Quality Engineering Award, and China Non-ferrous Metals Geological Prospecting Achievement Award (provincial and ministerial level).

Since its establishment, NFC has always been adhering to the business philosophy of "sincere cooperation, honesty and trustworthiness, mutual understanding, mutual trust, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation", and actively fulfilling its social responsibilities. In the past few years, NFC has donated and sponsored nearly ten million dollars of materials and facilities to some developing countries and regions and people, and has also made outstanding efforts in environmental protection.
