On July 18, 2026, the signing ceremony for the Project Acceptance Certificate (PAC) of the Amin Copper Smelter Project in Indonesia, constructed by NFC, was held in Beijing. Representatives from Indonesia’s PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk and NFC officially signed the PAC, marking the successful fulfillment of the project’s contractual objectives and ushering in a new phase of deepened cooperation between the two parties.

The Amin Copper Smelter Project is located on Sumbawa Island in West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. It represents a significant achievement of NFC’s active support for the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and the deepening of international industrial capacity cooperation. The project is designed to process 900,000 tons of copper concentrate and produce 220,000 tons of cathode copper annually. During construction phase, the teams from both sides collaborated closely, overcoming various challenges together. The project achieved mechanical completion in just 24 months and successfully commenced production on the first attempt, earning high recognition from the partner for its construction quality and contract performance.

Under the strong leadership of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group (CNMC) and with the support and guidance of Chairman Wen Gang, NFC successfully completed this project and obtained the PAC. On July 17, Chairman Wen Gang held talks with Mr. Arief Sidarto, President of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk. The two sides reached consensus on deepening cooperation across the entire mining industry chain and expanding collaboration in more fields.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Arief Sidarto stated that the successful completion and commissioning of the project fully demonstrate the long-standing foundation of mutual trust and synergistic cooperation between the two parties. In the future, AMMAN looks forward to deepening cooperation with NFC in more areas to achieve new milestones together.

Mr. Liu Yu, Chairman of NFC, remarked that the signing of the PAC is a major achievement of the bilateral cooperation and an important testimony to the deepening mutual trust and joint development between the two sides. NFC will earnestly implement the deployment requirements of CNMC, take this signing as a new starting point, fully leverage its comprehensive strengths in engineering, construction, technical services, and production operations, continuously expand cooperation areas, and promote the partnership to deeper and more substantive levels.

The event was attended by Mr. Naveen Chandralal, Director of Amman Mineral International Tbk, along with relevant personnel, as well as Mr. Tan Yaoyu, President of NFC, and other relevant staff.
